I also enjoyed The Ordinary Princess as a child, though I don't remember too much about the plot (other than, of course, she's given the gift of being ordinary).<br /><br />Your post was timely. I've been thinking a lot about how I've ended up with a pretty boring (in good ways) life. I've been in Sacramento for four years, and have realized that I haven't really embraced it here. I expected the move to be relatively temporary--but I've tried three times to move (complete with secure job offers!), and haven't felt good about leaving.<br /><br />Anyway, I haven't really come to conclusions about any of this, but I have been mulling, and your post was some good food for thought.
